Valve Announces Free Weekend for Classic Zombie Shooter Left 4 Dead 2

Valve has announced that Left 4 Dead 2, the popular cooperative zombie shooter, will be free to play on Steam this weekend. Starting today, April 28, and running until Monday, May 1, players can download and play the full game for free.
The free weekend includes access to all of Left 4 Dead 2's campaigns and modes, including the original four campaigns, The Passing, Dark Carnival, Swamp Fever, and Cold Stream. Players can also team up with friends or join online matches with other players to fight off hordes of zombies.
Left 4 Dead 2 was originally released in 2009 and has since become one of the most popular cooperative shooters on PC. The game features four unique characters, each with their own unique abilities, and a variety of weapons and items to use against the undead.
