Stavropol Territory Team Takes First Place in Russian рукопашный бой Championship
The stavropol Territory Team won the team competition at the Russian рукопашный бой Championship held in Volgograd.
The team, which consisted of 10 athletes, won 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
The gold medals were won by:
- Magomedrasul Idrisov (up to 60 kg)
- Magomed Aliev (up to 65 kg)
- Magomed Magomedov (up to 70 kg)
- Gadzhimurad Gadzhiev (up to 75 kg)
- Magomed Muradkadiyev (up to 80 kg)
- Gadzhimurad Gadzhiev (over 80 kg)
The silver medals were won by:
- Magomedrasul Idrisov (up to 60 kg)
- Magomed Aliev (up to 65 kg)
The bronze medals were won by:
- Magomed Magomedov (up to 70 kg)
- Gadzhimurad Gadzhiev (up to 75 kg)
The team was coached by Magomedrasul Idrisov and Magomed Aliev.
This is the first time that the Stavropol Territory Team has won the team competition at the Russian рукопашный бой Championship.

The team will now represent Russia at the World рукопашный бой Championship, which will be held in Moscow in October.
