Putin's envoy to Urals Federal District Artem Zhoga arrives in Tobolsk

The main tasks of Zhoga's visit are to check the progress of the construction of a gas processing plant, as well as assessing the damage caused by gas poisoning

The Urals plenipotentiary arrived in Tobolsk on October 19

The trip will last for two days. During this time, Zhoga intends to communicate with the city residents, as well as hold a meeting with the regional authorities. One of the goals of the visit is to check the construction progress of the Tobolsk LNG plant. During the inspection, the envoy will assess the extent to which the project is meeting its schedule. In addition, Zhoga will meet with the victims of the gas poisoning that occurred in Tobolsk in August 2022. The envoy will assess the amount of damage caused by the incident and the assistance provided to the victims. The visit of the plenipotentiary is expected to contribute to resolving the issues facing Tobolsk residents.
