Pavel Lukyanenko Elected New Head of the Russian National Grain Center

During a conference in Moscow, Russia Pavel Lukyanenko was elected as the new head of the National Grain Center. Prior to his election, he was the director of the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center. Lukyanenko was nominated by Veniamin Kondratyev, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Grain Center. Kondratyev praised Lukyanenko's experience in plant breeding and grain production as key reasons for supporting his candidacy. Moreover, Lukyanenko's previous experience as a general director at the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center was considered to be a major factor by the board.
Lukyanenko's main goal is to advance the Russian wheat industry through supporting new developments in plant breeding and research.
