The Russian Historical Society is launching the Victory Story contest for schoolchildren. The project is dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The jury will evaluate the works according to the following criteria: the historical accuracy of the story, the literary quality of the essay, and the originality of the work.

The winners of the contest will be awarded valuable prizes. The best essays will be published in the journal "Rodina".

The contest will be held in two stages:

Regional stage:

The regional stage will be held from November 1, 2019 to March 1, 2020. During this period, schoolchildren will be able to submit their works to the regional organizing committees.

Federal stage:

The Russian Historical Society is a public organization founded in 2012. The Society's main goal is to promote the study of Russian history. The Society implements a wide range of projects, including the Victory Story contest.
