Journalists and Authors Invited to Participate in Contest for Best Publication on Gas Supply and Gasification in the Media

Nomination of competitive works starts on August 15, 2023; the award ceremony will be held in October 2023 in Moscow.

Organizers of the professional contest “Gas in the Media” are Gazprom and the Russian Gas Society under the patronage of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The contest is aimed at popularizing the achievements of the domestic gas industry, improving the quality of publications on the topic of gas supply and gasification in the media, and supporting the professional development of journalists and authors.

Nomination categories:

• Best publication in the print media;
• Best publication in the electronic media;
• Best publication in a regional media outlet.

Winners will be awarded in the following categories:

• First place - 300,000 rubles;
• Second place - 200,000 rubles;
• Third place - 100,000 rubles.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION:

• Publications must be published in Russian-language media outlets from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
• The publication must be devoted to the topic of gas supply and gasification.
• The publication must be original and not previously published in other media outlets.
• The length of the publication must be at least 3,000 characters (with spaces).

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION, YOU MUST:

• Fill out an application form on the contest website;
• Attach a scan of the publication to the application form;
• Send the application form and the scan of the publication to the email address of the contest organizing committee: gazeta@gazprom.ru.

The deadline for applications is September 15, 2023. The winners of the contest will be announced in October 2023 at a special award ceremony in Moscow.
