II All-Russian Quantum Hackathon Quant-NN Launched at Lobachevsky University
The event is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
The second All-Russian Quantum Hackathon Quant-NN has started on the platform of the National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University (UNN), the contest website reports. The event, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, will be held in two stages: an online stage until 20 November and a final offline stage from 23 to 27 November at Lobachevsky University.
According to the competition website: "The main objective of the Quant-NN hackathon is to develop software and hardware solutions, implementation methods and algorithms that accelerate the development and application of quantum computing technologies in Russia, as well as to train specialists in the field of quantum programming."
During the online stage of the competition, participants will solve problems aimed at developing quantum algorithms and quantum computing systems. The final stage of the competition will be held in the laboratory of quantum information technologies and quantum computing of Lobachevsky University, where the participants will have access to specialized equipment.
The winners of the competition will receive valuable prizes: grants for research, participation in international conferences and training programs, internships at leading IT companies.
The program includes a 17-hour educational program with master classes by industry experts, as well as round tables and discussions.
