Vladislav Khovlyg and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation discuss implementation of key development projects for Tuva

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov and Head of the Tuva Republic Vladislav Khovlyg held a working meeting in Kyzyl to discuss the implementation of key development projects for the region.

The parties discussed the implementation of the second stage of the Kyzyl - Kuragino railway line construction project, the construction of a gas pipeline to Kyzyl, the development of the coal industry, and the creation of a special economic zone in the republic.

Khovlyg noted that the implementation of these projects will contribute to the socio-economic development of Tuva and the improvement of the living standards of its residents. Belousov, in turn, expressed the support of the Russian government for these initiatives and promised to assist in their implementation.

The parties also discussed the possibility of creating a logistics hub in Tuva, which would become a transshipment point for goods from China to Russia and other countries. Belousov noted that the creation of such a hub would be a promising project that would contribute to the development of transport infrastructure in the region.

In addition, the parties discussed the development of tourism and the creation of new tourist routes in Tuva. Khovlyg noted that the republic has a rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as unique natural attractions.
