UFC Ex-Champ Questions Tyson-Paul Fight: 'Are You Kidding Me?'
Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has taken to social media to weigh in on the upcoming boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul
Bisping posted a video to his YouTube channel in which he criticized the pairing, calling it a "freak show" and an insult to the sport of boxing.
“I feel I have to address this Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson thing," Bisping said. "I’m a big Mike Tyson fan. I think Mike Tyson is a legend, I think he’s one of the greatest to ever do it. But I’m sorry, this whole thing with Jake Paul is a joke."
Bisping is not the only one who has expressed doubts about the legitimacy of the fight
Many boxing experts have questioned whether or not Tyson, who is now 54 years, is still capable of competing at a high level.
Tyson hasn't fought since 2005, and he has struggled with addiction and other personal issues in recent years.
Paul, on the other hand, is just 24 years old and has only been boxing for a few years.
He has no professional boxing experience and has only fought against other novices.
Despite the obvious mismatch in terms of experience and age, the fight has generated a lot of interest from both boxing fans and casual observers.
It is scheduled to take place on June 6 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
