Tolstoy, Shalyapin, and Yesenin to voice Geo-dictation questions
Literary figures from St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Ryazan to support educational project on November 27
This year, famous literary figures from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ryazan will voice the tasks of the International Geographical Dictation. They include writer Yevgeny Vodolazkin, singer Khibla Gerzmava, and actor Sergei Bezrukov.
Lyceum students Alexander Pushkin and Ivan Turgenev from the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum in St. Petersburg; the heavy-voiced Feodor Chaliapin from the Moscow Conservatory; the poet Sergei Yesenin from the Konstantinovo Museum-Reserve in the Ryazan Region will also join the project.
The dictation will take place on November 27
This year, the Dictation will be held on November 27 for the ninth time. One of the main themes will be the 2023 Water Year.
The educational action is supported by the Russian Geographical Society, Moscow State University and leading Russian media.
