The Ural Presidential Envoy Zhogo Visit Tobolsk

The main purpose of the trip is to check the progress of the implementation of national projects.

On October 17, 2023, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District, Vladimir Yakushev, visited Tobolsk to inspect the progress of national projects and major infrastructure facilities. At the meeting with the leadership of the city and the region, the main issues of socio-economic development of Tobolsk and the prospects for the implementation of national projects were discussed.

Zhogo also took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of the Tobolsk Industrial College.

The head of the region spoke about the importance of the new building of the industrial technical school for the city and the region as a whole. "The new building of the industrial technical school is a very important object for the city and the region, - said Vladimir Yakushev. - We are counting on training young people here who will work at the enterprises of the industrial park, at the petrochemical plant, and at other facilities."

Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor thanked the leadership of the country for the attention to the Tyumen region, as well as for supporting the city of Tobolsk and the development of the region. He noted that the construction of the new building of the industrial technical school was carried out as part of the national project "Education" and was partially financed from the federal budget.

The total area of the new three-story building of the industrial college is 7,000 sq. m.

The new building has specialized workshops and laboratories, a canteen, a sports hall and a conference room. The college has been training specialists for the regional economy for more than 40 years. Today, more than 800 students study here in 10 areas of training.

After the ceremonial opening of the new building, Zhogo and the leaders of the region and the city examined the workshops of the industrial technical school, talked with teachers and students, and got acquainted with the material and technical base of the educational institution.
