The Hibiny Race Is Coming to Kirovsk
Cross-country skiers are getting ready for the Hibiny Race.
The traditional competition will be held from March 11 to 13 on the tracks of the Tirvas ski complex.
Athletes from Murmansk, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Vologda, Petrozavodsk, and Severodvinsk will participate in the race.
The competition program includes races:
March 11:
- 10 km freestyle for men and women
- 5 km freestyle for boys and girls aged 13-17
March 12:
- 5 km classic style for men and women
- 3 km classic style for boys and girls 13-17 years old
March 13:
- 30 km classic style for men
- 20 km classic style for women
- 15 km classic style for boys and girls 13-17 years old
- 5 km classic style for boys and girls 10-12 years old
- 2.5 km classic style for boys and girls 7-9 years old
Prize-winners in each age group will be awarded diplomas, medals, and cash prizes.
