Svetlana Svetlichnaya, Soviet and Russian film actress, has passed away
Soviet and Russian film actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya has died at the age of 81.
She was best known for her role as Anna Sergeyevna in the 1969 film The Diamond Arm.
Svetlichnaya was born in Armenia in 1940. She graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography in 1963 and began her acting career in the same year.
She appeared in more than 50 films and television shows during her career.
Svetlichnaya was married twice. Her first husband was actor Vladimir Ivashov. Her second husband was director Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich.
She had one child, a daughter named Maria.
Svetlichnaya died in Moscow on October 21, 2021.
