Roberto Martinez was full of praise for the Portuguese national team after his Belgium side were beaten 1-0 in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

The Red Devils were second best for much of the contest and were fortunate to only lose by the odd goal.

Martinez admitted that Portugal were the better team on the night and deserved to take all three points.
