Registration for the central platform of the Geographical Dictation in Moscow is now open. The event will take place on October 30, 2023, and will be held at the Moscow State University. Those wishing to participate can register on the official website of the Geographical Dictation.

Participation in the dictation is free of charge and open to everyone over the age of 12.

The Geographical Dictation is an annual event that has been held in Russia since 2015. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of geography and to promote the study of geography in schools and universities.

The Dictation consists of 40 questions on various topics related to geography, including physical geography, human geography, and economic geography.

In 2022, the Geographical Dictation was held in 2500 venues in 89 regions of Russia and 145 countries of the world. More than 600 thousand people took part in the event.

The central platform of the Geographical Dictation in Moscow will be held in the main building of the Moscow State University. The venue can accommodate up to 5,000 people.
