MPs visited the Third Launch Complex near Volgograd
The deputies of the Volgograd Regional Duma inspected the progress of work on the third launch complex of the Plesetsk cosmodrome, which is located in the Volgograd region. They were accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin. The delegation visited the construction site of the launch pad, the technical complex and the command and measuring complex.
Dmitry Rogozin said that the construction of the complex is proceeding according to schedule. The first launch from the new launch pad is scheduled for 2023. The complex will be used to launch Soyuz-2 and Angara rockets.
The deputies noted the high level of organization of work at the construction site. They expressed confidence that the complex will be built on time and will become a new space harbor for Russia.
