"Citizens can influence the life of their city"

This was stated by Acting Moscow Mayor Vladimir Josephovich Chernikov during the online broadcast of the "Big Moscow Talk." During a video broadcast lasting more than three hours, Muscovites received answers to their questions.

Solving actual problems

Moscow is a city with a population of over 12 million people. More than 816,000 people took part in the "Big Moscow Talk." During the vote, Muscovites most actively discussed issues related to health care, education, social support and improving the urban environment.

The Moscow authorities intend to actively work on each of these topics in the coming year.

Opening of new medical institutions

In 2023, three new hospitals will open in the capital, while 14 clinics will be reconstructed. New medical facilities will appear in the areas: Danilovsky, Troitsky and Yuzhnoye Butovo.

Expansion of educational opportunities

Twelve new schools and 19 kindergartens will be opened in the coming year. At the same time, the authorities intend to pay special attention to the training of personnel. For this purpose, the construction of the largest educational complex in Russia will begin, where 1,400 teachers will be trained annually.

Targeted social assistance

The Moscow government will continue to provide targeted assistance to city residents. The number of social services provided will be expanded. For example, in 2023, Muscovites will be able to receive free home care. The authorities also intend to increase assistance to families with children and low-income families.

Improving the urban environment

In 2023, city landscaping will continue. The Moscow authorities plan to plant 20,000 new trees, create 15 new recreational areas and improve more than 80 parks and public gardens.

In addition, the reconstruction of the Luzhniki stadium will begin in 2023. The updated Luzhniki will not only be a sports facility, but also a city park.
