Lev Tolstoy and Sergei Yesenin to voice questions for the Geographical Dictation. Amur residents are invited to participate
The All-Russian Geographical Dictation will be held on November 27
On November 27, the All-Russian Geographical Dictation will be held for the seventh time. Anyone can test their knowledge of geography. The tasks will be voiced by famous Russian writers Lev Tolstoy and Sergei Yesenin.
More than 2 million people from 14 foreign countries took part in the dictation last year
The Geographical Dictation is an annual educational action of the Russian Geographical Society. It is held since 2015. Last year, more than 2 million people from 14 foreign countries took part in the dictation. This year, more than 10,000 sites will be opened in Russia and abroad.
In the Amur Region, the dictation can be written at 37 sites, including schools, universities, libraries, cultural centers and MFCs. The list of sites and registration for participation is available on the official website.
Participants will be offered 40 questions of varying difficulty levels: 10 questions about the Amur Region, 10 questions about Russia and 20 questions about the world.
The results will be published on the website of the Russian Geographical Society on December 20. Those who correctly answer more than 30 questions will receive electronic certificates of participants, and those who score 40 out of 40 will receive the title of "Geographic Dictation Expert".
