The boxing legend reveals who he believes is the most skilled fighter he ever faced.
Lennox Lewis, the former undisputed world heavyweight champion, has revealed that only one boxer truly impressed him during his illustrious career.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Lewis said that Evander Holyfield was the only fighter who he felt was a match for him in terms of skill and determination.
"Holyfield was a great fighter," said Lewis. "He was very skilled, very determined, and very tough. He was the only fighter who I ever fought who I felt was a match for me."
Lewis and Holyfield fought twice, with Lewis winning both fights. However, the first fight was a close and controversial decision, and many believe that Holyfield was robbed of the victory.
Despite their rivalry, Lewis has always maintained a great deal of respect for Holyfield. He has often said that Holyfield is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
"Holyfield was a great champion," said Lewis. "He was a true warrior. I have a lot of respect for him."
