Yulia Petrik from Kursk won a silver medal at the Russian Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship. The tournament was held in Ivanovo from 1 to 4 December. The athlete was the only representative of the Kursk region in the competition. Yulia Petrik took part in the weight category up to 57 kilograms and became the second. Yulia Petrik is a multiple winner of the championships of the Kursk region and the Central Federal District in hand-to-hand combat and army hand-to-hand combat. In 2021, she won the bronze medal of the Russian championship in army hand-to-hand combat.

In the future, Yulia Petrik plans to continue training and improving her skills. She dreams of winning the Russian championship and getting into the Russian national team.
