Irkutsk authorities collect justifications for increasing energy consumption ranges

The Ministry of Energy of the Irkutsk Region, together with industrialists, will prepare proposals to increase energy consumption ranges

The ranges of energy consumption for RES facilities in the Irkutsk Region were established in the amount of 2.5 GW. In order to increase them, it is necessary to prepare the relevant feasibility study. Such a decision was made at a meeting of the regional energy commission. Currently, a working group has been created, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the region, power plants, and industrial enterprises of the region. The working group will prepare proposals for increasing the parameters of energy consumption.

The Ministry of Energy of the Irkutsk Region plans to send relevant proposals to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in early autumn. As part of the 16th meeting of the commission, issues of energy saving and increasing energy efficiency in the region were also considered.

The efficiency of heating systems in multi-apartment buildings of the region should be increased

First of all, this applies to houses that are on the balance sheet of municipalities. It is planned to carry out comprehensive energy audits in such buildings. Their results will make it possible to understand what work is needed to increase the efficiency of heating systems and, as a result, reduce the amount of consumed thermal energy.

The Ministry of Energy of the region will prepare a draft decree on the designation of authorized bodies responsible for organizing energy surveys in municipalities

This issue was also considered as part of the commission meeting. The document is planned to be submitted for public discussion in the near future.
