Fifth Season of Russian Video Postcard Exchange Competition Launched
Video postcards from all over Russia to be featured in the competition
The fifth season of the All-Russian competition for the exchange of video postcards "Look, it's Russia!" has begun. The competition is open to everyone, from professional filmmakers to schoolchildren and housewives, and anyone can participate by sending a short video postcard about their city, village, or region of Russia.
The competition is divided into several categories:
- My Russia (for video postcards about the nature, culture, and people of Russia)
- My City (for video postcards about Russian cities and towns)
- My Village (for video postcards about Russian villages)
- My Family (for video postcards about Russian families)
- My Profession (for video postcards about Russian professions)
- My Hobby (for video postcards about Russian hobbies)
- My Dream (for video postcards about Russian dreams and aspirations)
The competition is open until October 1, 2023, and the winners will be announced on November 1, 2023.
The jury will be composed of leading Russian filmmakers, journalists, and cultural figures, and the winners will receive valuable prizes, including cash, camera equipment, and trips to Russian film festivals.
The competition is organized by the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Union of Cinematographers, and it is supported by the Russian National Film Fund and the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network.
The competition's goal is to promote Russian culture and tourism and to provide a platform for people to share their stories about Russia.
