Dani Olmo spoke to the media ahead of Spain's match against Germany on Matchday 2 of the UEFA Nations League. The Spanish midfielder stressed the importance of getting a good result in Seville to stay top of Group 4.
"It's a very important match for us," said Olmo. "We want to be first in the group and we know that if we get a good result tomorrow, we will be in a good position to achieve that."
Olmo also spoke about the importance of playing at home in front of the Spanish fans. "It's always special to play at home," he said. "The fans are always behind us and they give us a lot of energy. We hope to give them a good performance tomorrow and get the win."
Spain are currently top of Group 4 with three points from their opening match against Switzerland. Germany are second with one point from their draw against Italy.
The match between Spain and Germany will be played at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Seville on Tuesday, June 14th at 20:45 CEST.
