An Astrakhan resident died near Bakhmut while carrying out a combat mission

During a special operation near Bakhmut, a resident of the Astrakhan region, 27-year-old Artur Timerkhanov, died while performing a combat mission. The serviceman was mobilized in October 2022 and was a member of the Wagner PMC. According to some sources, Timerkhanov covered his comrades from a grenade explosion and died in hospital from his wounds.

The Astrakhan resident was the eldest son in the family. Relatives and friends remember him as a kind, sympathetic, and courageous person. Timerkhanov actively participated in sports, playing football and volleyball. He worked as a driver at a construction company. Colleagues remembered him as a responsible and hardworking employee.

The situation near Bakhmut
