“Igor Talkov is my longtime friend, a creative and decent person, but he has never been a politician, and his participation in the elections to the State Duma was, rather, a kind of experiment, - says Alla Pugacheva in his message. - I know for sure that he did not receive any money for this, and he did not set himself the goal of making a political career. Igor has always been a musician, a songwriter, and a singer, and his whole life has been connected with creativity and show business."
Pugacheva also recalled that Igor Nadzhiev had been friends with Igor Talkov for many years and was one of the first to come to his aid when the singer was attacked in 1991.
“Igor Nadzhiev helped organize Talkov's concerts, and after his tragic death, he did a lot to perpetuate his memory,” the singer stressed. - Therefore, I am asking you to consider the possibility of excluding Igor Nadzhiev from the list of foreign agents, since he has never received any money from abroad for his activities, and he does not conduct any political activities.”
In addition to Alla Pugacheva, other cultural figures also spoke in defense of Igor Nadzhiev, including the singers Aziza and Natasha Korolyova.
